1. Who we are
Adorify is a mobile app made by Motech Software LLC, San Diego, CA, USA ("Adorify", "we", "us"). Questions about this policy or your data: info@motech.software.
2. What this policy covers
This policy covers the Adorify mobile app, our website motech.software, and our customer support. It explains what we collect, why, how long we keep it, and the choices you have.
3. What we collect
You give us:
Phone number. Required to create an account. We use it to verify you are a real person, to prevent abuse of free coins, and to secure your account.
Photos you upload. The picture you choose for a video.
Support messages. What you write to us, and the email address you write from.
Created when you use Adorify:
Generated videos. The videos Adorify makes from your photo.
Account and coin records. Coins bought, earned and spent; referrals; purchase receipts.
Usage data. Which vibes and templates you open, what you generate, errors and crashes.
Device data. Device model, operating system, app version, language, approximate region, and an app install identifier.
We do not collect: your contacts, your photo library beyond the pictures you pick, your precise location, or payment card numbers.
4. Face data
To create your video, our AI processes the face in the photo you upload. Your photo is stored together with the video it produced.
Purpose. We process face data only to generate the video you asked for.
Consent. We ask for your consent before your first upload. You can withdraw it at any time by deleting your content and your account.
No training. We never use your photos, videos or face data to train AI models — ours or anyone else's.
No sale, no disclosure. We never sell, lease, trade or otherwise profit from your face data, and we do not disclose it to anyone except the service providers in section 6 who store or process it for us.
Retention and destruction schedule. Your photo is stored with the video made from it, and both are deleted 90 days after the video is created. You can delete them yourself at any time: deleting a video deletes the photo behind it as well. Deleting your account deletes everything.
You choose the photo. Only upload a photo of yourself, or of someone who has agreed to it. See our Terms of Use.
5. Why we use your data, and our legal basis
We use your data to run Adorify, and nothing else. In detail:
To generate your video. This is what you came for, so we process your photo and the face in it to create the video you asked for. In Europe this is necessary to perform our contract with you, and for the face itself we rely on your explicit consent, which you can withdraw at any time.
To verify your phone number. This keeps out fake accounts and stops people farming free coins. It is part of providing the service and is in our legitimate interest in keeping Adorify fair and affordable.
To run the coin system. Buying, earning and spending coins, referrals and receipts are all part of our contract with you.
To keep the app working. We look at crashes, errors and general usage to fix problems and improve Adorify. This is our legitimate interest in offering a service that works.
To answer you. When you write to us, we use your message and contact details to help you.
To comply with the law and prevent abuse. We keep the records the law requires, and we act on fraud, misuse and unlawful content.
We do not use your data for advertising or profiling.
6. Who we share it with
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share your photos or videos with other users or the public. We use a small number of service providers who process data on our instructions:
Google Cloud and Firebase (Google, United States): hosting, storage, account sign-in, the SMS verification code, and the computing power that generates videos.
Apple and Google: process in-app purchases and distribute the app.
Stripe: when you buy coins through the checkout page that opens in your browser, Stripe processes the payment. Stripe receives your payment details directly; we never see your full card number. We receive a record of the purchase (amount, date, status) so we can add your coins.
We may also disclose data if the law requires it, to protect people's safety, or as part of a merger or sale of the business, in which case this policy continues to apply until you are told otherwise.
7. How long we keep it
We keep each kind of data only as long as we need it:
Your photos and the videos made from them: 90 days, or until you delete them. Deleting a video also deletes the photo it was made from.
Your account and phone number: until you delete your account.
The phone number of a deleted account: we keep a scrambled (hashed) copy for 1 year, so the same number cannot immediately be used to claim free coins again.
Purchase and tax records: as long as tax and accounting law requires.
Deleted means deleted. Once you delete a video, we cannot get it back, so save anything you want to keep.
8. Your rights
Wherever you live, you can: get a copy of your data, correct it, delete it, or delete your whole account, either from within the app or by following the steps at motech.software/delete-account.
9. Age limits
You must be at least 13 years old to use Adorify. If you are under 18, you may only use Adorify with the permission of a parent or guardian, and that parent or guardian must agree to our processing of your face data.
In the European Economic Area, the minimum age is 16, unless the law of your country sets a lower age (some countries allow 13, 14 or 15), in which case that age applies and a parent's consent is required below 16.
We do not knowingly collect data from anyone below these ages. If we learn that we have, we delete the account and its content. Contact info@motech.software if you believe a child has given us their data.
10. International transfers
We are based in the United States, and your data is stored and processed there. If you are in the EEA, the UK or Switzerland, your data is transferred to the United States under the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses, with the UK and Swiss additions.
11. Security
We protect your data with encryption in transit and at rest, access controls limiting who on our team can reach your content, and phone verification on accounts. No service can promise perfect security, but we take this seriously and will tell you and the relevant authority if a breach affects you.
12. Changes
If we change this policy in a way that matters, we will tell you in the app or by email before the change takes effect. The date at the top shows the current version.
